Spanish stock market gains 0.23 pct Friday

MADRID, April 27 (Xinhua) -- Spanish shares gained on Friday, with the benchmark stock market index Ibex-35 up 0.23 percent or 23.10 points to 9,925.40 points.

A total of 21 of the selected 35 large companies gained in the day.

Renewable energy company Siemens Gamesa advanced 3.94 percent, being the top gainer of the session. Infrastructure company Tecnicas Reunidas rose 2.75 percent and chemical and pharmaceutical company Grifols was up 2.31 percent.

Telecommunications company Cellnex lost 3.72 percent, being the top loser of the day. Global operator of services and infrastructure Ferrovial was down 1.03 percent and supermarket chain DIA went down 0.88 percent. Enditem
